Exploring your profile page

The Profile page is a public page that allows other users to learn more about you. Users can visit your Profile page to understand who you are, what you do, and how to interact with you.

The page displays your photo, full name, username, bio, company, website, and a list of organizations you belong to. The username is a unique identifier that other users can use to mention you, invite you to projects, or interact with you on the platform.

To interact with a user profile page:

  1. To follow the user, click Follow. The user will receive a notification in the activity feed if someone starts following.

  2. To see the list of user organizations, click Organizations. Only organizations accessible to other users are visible.

  3. To view all resources the user has created, click Resources. Only resources accessible to other users are visible.

  4. To see comments and interactions the user has made, click Activity. Only comments on resources accessible to other users are visible.

  5. To see who follows the user, click Followers.

  6. To view the users and organizations the user follows, click Following.

  7. To see all the resources the user has bookmarked, click Bookmarks. Only bookmarks of resources accessible to other users are visible.

Updating your profile settings

To customize your profile page :

  1. Full name: Enter your full name as you want it to be shown on your Profile page. This field is required.

  2. Company or organization: Specify the company or organization you are associated with.

  3. Website: Add a link to your personal or professional website.

  4. Bio: Write a brief biography to share your background, interests, and expertise (maximum length is 255 characters).

  5. After making your changes, click the Save button to apply them.

To update your profile photo:

  1. Click Add a photo. The pop-up window opens to upload the image.

  2. Upload the file with your photo. Drag and drop the image or browse the file from your system. Note: You can upload only one image in JPEG, PNG, or BMP format.

    Important

    Upload square images with a 1:1 aspect ratio for optimal display. We recommend using images with a maximum size of 260 by 260 pixels. Smaller images might not display correctly and could appear pixelated.

  3. Once you have uploaded the photo, click the Edit icon to make image adjustments. You can crop, rotate, and flip the image. Click Save.

  4. Click Upload 1 file. You can see that your profile photo has been updated.

  5. Hover over the image to change or remove your profile photo if you don’t need it.
