Using Archie AI Assistant

Archie by data.world makes it easier for users to use data.world to discover data and unlock organizational knowledge – regardless of expertise level. Archie integrate the power and flexibility of data.world’s knowledge graph-architecture with large language models (LLM).

This feature is available exclusively for Public Preview to Enterprise customers. Archie offers two key features: Archie Chat and Archie Enrich. To request the activation of one or both features in your catalog, please work with your Customer Success Director.

Archie chat

Archie Chat is an advanced conversational AI assistant designed to revolutionize interactions with your data catalog. Built on the foundation of your knowledge graph metadata, it enhances data discovery and encourages the adoption of data catalogs by providing answers you can trust. Archie enrich

Archie enrich provides powerful AI-driven capabilities to assist data teams in enriching metadata, generating research questions, and working with SQL queries. How to begin?

  1. Archie chat and Archie enrich features are enabled on special request to data.world. To request the activation of one or both features in your catalog, please work with your Customer Success Director. These features can be enabled for all users in an organization or individual users.

  2. To use the two Archie beta features - SQL queries explanations and Generating research questions for collections - you must also do the following configurations after Archie is enabled for you:

    1. Enable the Experimental feature option. Select the Enable experimental features option in your account settings.

    2. Ensure that the ddw-catalog dataset is discoverable by users of the organization.
