Dataset

You must have a ddw-catalogs dataset set up to hold your catalog files when you are done running the collector.

If you are using Catalog Toolkit , follow these instructions to prepare the datasets for collectors.

Network connection

Allowlist IPs and domains

Setting up authentication for Qlik Replicate Cloud

Create a user for the collector. For detailed instructions, see the Qlik Replicate documentation

To set up permissions:

  1. Login to the Qlik Enterprise Manager.

  2. Navigate to the Users tab.

  3. Create a new user with the Viewer on All Servers role assignment:

    1. Grants read access to task lists, task details, task monitoring status, and endpoint lists via the API.

    2. Upgrade to Operator on All Servers if server connection properties (host, port) are also required.

      Note

Note: Enterprise Manager roles are independent of Replicate's own user permissions. The EM role only controls what the collector can access through the Enterprise Manager API.

    3. If your organization uses Active Directory, you can instead add the collector's service account to the AttunityEnterpriseManager Viewer (or Operators) AD group rather than creating a user directly in Enterprise Manager.
