Deleting datasets
Delete a dataset that is no longer in use. You must have Manage permissions for the dataset, or be an organization Admin, to delete datasets.
Important considerations:
All the files added in the dataset get deleted.
Any queries using the dataset will stop working.
The dataset is removed from the application and all lists, such as bookmarks and recent activity on the home page. The project page will continue to display the name of the dataset with a note stating, This content is not available.
To delete a dataset:
Browse to the dataset you want to delete.
On the Overview tab, in the Related Projects section, you can see the list of projects using the dataset.
On the Settings tab, in the General section, click the Delete dataset button.
A confirmation message appears. Click the Delete button to confirm the deletion. The dataset is automatically removed from the application and from all lists such as bookmarks, recent activity on the home page, etc.
You can now go to the Project pages and unlink the deleted datasets from the project. Deleted datasets are indicated with a a note stating, This content is not available.
