Moving resources between collections

The application facilitates a quick and simple mechanism to transfer resources from one collection to another. By utilizing the same feature, you are able to add resources to several collections while retaining them in their original collection.

You can add resources to other collections from the Organization Profile page >  Resources tab or Glossary tab or from the Collections page > Contains tab. You can move resources between collections only from the Collections page.

To move resources between collections:

  1. To move resources between collections, go to the Collections page > Contains tab.

  2. On the Move or add resource page, utilize the filter tools, search options, and advanced search capabilities to hone in on the specific resources you want to modify.

    Choose the terms for editing and loop through the various search methods to get your list ready for editing. The list of Selected resources is be maintained as you scroll through different search options in preparation for editing.

    The Move or add resource screen has a paginated list of terms with 50 resources per page, with a maximum of 1000 terms. If you have more than 1000 resources, you will need to apply filters to gain access to additional resources that are initially not visible.

  3. On the Move or add resources screen, select the Move resources option and select the collections to which you want to move the resources. Click the Move resources button.

To add resources to other collections:

  3. On the Add to collections screen, select the collections to which you want to add the resources. Click the Add resources button.

  4. On the next screen, click the Confirm changes button.
