Configuring Slack integration for Archie

About the integration

Use this integration to bring the power of Archie chat to your Slack channels and boost productivity. This integration is enabled at the instance level. Slack chat for Archie will be available for organizations that are Archie enabled.

Enabling Slack integration for Archie Chat

To enable the Slack integration for Archie Chat:

  1. Click your Profile icon on the right side of the top navigation. From the menu, select Admin portal.

  2. On the Admin portal, from the Settings page, select Integrations.

  3. On the Integrations page, locate the Slack integration and click the Connect button.

  4. On the Slack page that opens, browse to the Workspace you want to connect with.

  5. Review the permissions required by the data.world Archie app to connect to Slack. Click Allow.

  6. You are redirected to the Integrations page in data.world. You will now see the Slack integration status is changed to Configured and you can also view the Slack workspace it is connected to.

Remove the Archie Chat integration from Slack

To remove the Archie Chat integration from Slack:

  1. Locate the data.world Archie app in Slack.

  2. Right-click the app and select View app details.

  3. In the data.world Archie app window that opens, click Configuration.

  4. On the next page, locate the Remove App section and click the Remove App button.

  5. Click Remove App uninstall the integration from your Slack workspace.

  6. Next, browse to the Settings page in the data.world application.

  7. Open the Advanced settings page and in the Authorized integrations section, locate the data.world Archie Chat integration and click Revoke.
