Navigating the marketplace

To navigate the marketplace:

  1. Browse to the Marketplace experience.

    Start by exploring the domains and data products available in the marketplace.

  2. First, you will see a list of all the domains you have access to. Domains act as logical, hierarchical groupings of Data Products, aligned with business functions rather than technical systems. Domains are based on the dwec:Domain collection type.

  3. Browse the list of domains to find the resources available in each domain.

  4. Next, you will see the list of data products available to you. Data products are the primary content type featured in the Marketplace. These are standard catalog resource types (kos-data-product:DataProduct) or custom types extended with required metadata fields (Marketplace Status, Cover Image). They must be marked as instantiable in CTK to be usable.

  5. Click the data product to view the details. Click Edit in catalog to be able to make changes to the item. This is based on access control.

  6. Use the search features in the Marketplace experience to quickly find what you are looking for.
