Preparing Informatica CDI for collectors

Setting up Informatica CDI instance

  • Make sure that the CDI instance that the collector will harvest metadata from has an active REST API license feature.

To learn how to verify which licenses are available to your organization, refer to the informatica CDI documentation.

To learn more about managing licenses and features, refer to the Informatica Administrator guide.

To connect the collector to Cloud Data Integration, the user must have at least the Designer role.

To set up the authentication:

  • Assign the Designer role to the user through the Administrator service in the Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS).

To learn more about user and role management, refer to the Informatica Cloud User Groups and Roles page.
